As some of you know, I’m not the best at coming up with names and so you’re left with Date Chocolate Balls. I guess it is a little more appropriate than the Slippery Balls name the family came up with for the slippery elm and honey balls. Nothing beats a dense, sweet chocolatey treat that’s free of additives and all man made chemicals.
Don’t get too excited about this recipe as it’s not as beneficial as having just honey and slippery elm mixed together. Those to ingredients combine make an excellent healer for your gut and it can sooth your throat when ill. This recipe on the other hand, can irritate your throat as does contain nuts and shredded coconut.
Anyway, enough gasbagging, time to cook!
