The Empress Tarot Card, often regarded as the mother card in tarot, has a rich history that dates back to the mid-15th century.

Originally embodying authority and power, its imagery evolved to highlight nurturing and maternal qualities. This card symbolises fertility, creativity, and abundance, serving as a reminder of the nurturing force in nature and within ourselves.  

Since I have another baby on the way, I felt like this card would be an excellent one to explore with you. And as always, these are my personal interpretations of The Empress card, reflecting my understanding and journey with tarot. It maybe different for you and that’s ok! Don’t ever feel like you’re “doing tarot wrong”, it all comes down to intuition in the end.
