To experience its full potential: Take a bottle of your favourite wine and a pouch of Mulling Spice. Ideally, encase the spice in a Muslin bag. Next, immerse the bag into the wine. Cover and allow it to heat gently. A simmering period of 2-5 hours is recommended, as the longer it steeps, the more robust and captivating the flavour becomes.
